This bygone look is comprised of a trinity of slender panels topped by a single hardwood panel or glass pane. Made from sturdy engineered hardwood and oak, these internal doors boast a solid core to improve security, insulation and soundproofing.
Whether you’re looking to improve your current home decor or implement a sense of traditionalism to your home, look no further than a DX30’s style door.
DX30 doors are a modern take on a particular style of door from the 1930s. Originally taking inspiration from the Art Deco movement, these doors were commonly referred to as “one o’er three” doors. They were quite common in British architecture and saw a great rise in popularity in a decade that saw over 4 million new homes built.
The bold cut panels – delineated geometric shapes – portray the influence from Art Deco, providing a quick glance into the past.
We also stock a variety of fire-rated DX30’s style doors for both commercial properties and homes. These are manufactured to an FD30 standard to withstand up to 30 minutes of flames within a building.
Fire doors aren’t just for fire exits and office buildings. In residential buildings, there are laws that require fire doors to be installed consistently. When you’re installing numerous fire doors, you don’t have to compromise on style.
Traditionally, a DX30 interior door was commonly made out of Douglas Fir. This wood was chosen for its structural integrity and its resilience to rot and decay.
In modern-day manufacturing, there are many ways to produce a top-quality door from a variety of woods. Our DX30 internal doors are manufactured from sturdy engineered hardwood and oak, providing greater resistance and durability than those from the 1930s.
This 1930s inspired range is available in a range of sizes with your choice of finishes.
Many of the doors in this range are available unfinished, allowing you to treat or stain the wood however you wish. We know just how important it is to find the perfect fit for your home’s interior. Alternatively, this range also includes prefinished oak doors that showcase the natural beauty and warmth of the oak.
Alternatively, if you would prefer a door with a brighter appearance, the DX30 range has stunning white primed doors that lend your living space a clean and airy feel. All are available unglazed or with clear or frosted glass.
