Typically, interior moulded doors consist of a hollow core and a softwood inner frame. Due to their construction, they are incredibly lightweight and often a more cost-effective alternative to solid wood doors.

Which is a better flush door or moulded door?

Do moulded doors need painting?
Moulded doors are supplied “Paint Grade”, meaning that the skin (or door face) is primed, with unfinished exposed lipping edges. It’s ready for painting on-site. Our white moulded doors make an excellent base for painting. If you’d prefer to stain your interior doors, we’d recommend investing in an unfinished natural-wooden-look door.
