What finishes of internal solid oak doors are available?
Our range of solid oak internal doors offer finished and unfinished variations. Pre-finished internal doors mean they have been completely finished before being delivered, whether this is painted, waxed or stained, and are ready to hang upon delivery. Buying a prefinished door is a more convenient option and ensures your door will have a uniform finish. An unfinished door is the ideal choice for those who want to add their own mark before hanging their door. Unfinished doors will not have any finish on them so they’re ready for you to add your own paint, stain or wax. If you have a particular wood stain throughout your home you want to match, or just fancy getting creative, this is the best choice for you.
Additional safety features
We spend hours looking up the safety features of external doors, making sure it has the right kind of lock and is sturdy enough to keep our home secure. But, safety is just as important with an internal door. Some commercial buildings legally require the use of fire doors and it is recommended to use a fire door between the kitchen and other rooms, including the garage. If this is something you want to consider many of our doors are available as 44m thick FD30 rated fire doors. An FD30 rated door means it will suppress the spread of fire and smoke for a minimum of thirty minutes.
