Product Description
Our Hardwood DX30 Style external hardwood doors are manufactured to exacting standards, but in a traditional mortice and tenon style. The DX30 range comes as external and internal doors because of it’s popularity and sophisticated looks. These External hardwood panel doors, are manufactured 44mm thick as standard and are ideal in refurbishment projects as they have minimum 18mm hardwood lipping’s all round which you can trim from to meet your opening. It is supplied as unfinished, ready for painting or staining to match your perferences. Manufactured using an engineered hardwood core for stability.

Unfinished – the doors are manufactured in untreated material state, with no sealant applied. These doors need to be lightly sanded and decorated by the end user.
Primed – Doors which have been lightly sanded and had a primer coat applied, but still need further coat(s) to seal the door or to achieve the final colour you desire. Prefinished / Fully Finished – These doors have been factory decorated and don’t need any further decoration. |

Construction

The construction of the door covers both the design and weight of the door.
Lightweight (Hollow Core) – The lightest construction – generally a framed construction with a eggbox or honeycomb interior. Middleweight (Semi-solid Core) – Construction will have areas of solid particleboard/ timber, as well as areas of eggbox or honeycomb interior. With real timber lippings. Heavyweight (Solid Core) – The heaviest form of construction - generally solid particle board with real timber lippings. |
