While the door is white primed, it requires full finishing at home, including light sanding and a top coat. For installation, it is essential to store the door flat and protected until ready for fitting. You can trim up to 2mm from each edge evenly, and it is recommended to use three 4″ butt hinges to prevent warping. Pre-drilling screw holes will help avoid splitting the timber.

To maintain its beauty, all timber surfaces must be fully finished to prevent moisture changes that can cause splitting or distortion. Use high-quality paint suitable for wooden internal doors. Regular cleaning with a damp cloth will help maintain the door’s natural beauty, and reapplying a finish coat after a few years will renew its luster.
